TRUCKER ON BAIL PENDING APPEAL.(Local)

Daniel P. Boutin went home Friday to Danville, Quebec, free on $15,000 bail pending the resolution of the appeal of his conviction on Dec. 12, 1986, of two counts of criminally negligent homicide.

State Supreme Court Justice Loren Brown ordered that Boutin remain free during the appeal after hearing arguments by District Attorney David A. Wait and Assistant Public Defender David H. Pentkowski.

Boutin's release followed his sentencing Thursday in Saratoga County Court by Judge Frank B. Williams to six months in the Saratoga County Jail and five years probation on each count.l The sentences are to be served concurrently.
